Ralph Carrafa is a self-taught independent Australian artist from Victoria.

Along with the female form, his work is influenced from a diverse mix of natural forms & man-made urban structures. His highly textured style varies from a minimal monotone pallet to a bold high-keyed colour pallet, aligning with the seasons in which they were created. Recent paintings from the Metamorphosis Series are a mix of expressive abstraction and figurative portraiture, fusing together instinct and ideas. A portion of the Artworks from the ongoing collection were first exhibited in 2017.
